Safety checks
A safety check is recommended for homeowners, legally required for landlords annually and sometimes required when selling a property.
Different safety checks we carry out
Homeowner Gas Safety Check
Homeowners are not legally required to hold a gas safety certificate though it is highly recommended to have a yearly boiler service and gas safety check at the same time. This safety check can be done as part of your annual appliance servicing and includes a visual inspection, tightness test of the gas installation and documenting any observations and recommendations
Landlord Gas Safety Check
A Landlord Gas Safety Certificate (also known as a CP12 or Gas Safety Record) is an official document verifying that all gas appliances, flues, and pipework in a rental property have been inspected and confirmed safe by a certified Gas Safe registered engineer. This needs to be carried out every 12 months
Unvented Water Cylinder
An unvented cylinder certificate verifies that a mains-pressure hot water system has been installed, commissioned, and serviced by a certified professional in compliance with UK Building Regulations (Part G3)
